Actress Ellen Barkin and Billionaire Husband Ron Perelman to Divorce
New York, NY (AHN) - Actress Ellen Barkin and billionaire husband Ron Perelman are divorcing after five years of marriage.
The Post reported Friday that Perelman had divorce papers served to Barkin at their Manhattan residence. Spokesmen from both camps have declined to comment. However, sources have said that Barkin was shocked upon receiving the papers.
Perelman's representative, Howard Rubenstein, told the Post, "I'm being kept out of the loop on this. I doubt if anyone will talk."
Perelman, 62, has been married four times and has been named by Forbes Magazine at the 34th richest man in the country. Perelman's third wife, Patricia Duff, received $30 million following their divorce.
Sources say that Barkin can expect to receive up to $20 million stemming from a previously signed agreement between the two.
